The syndicate of Global University Bangladesh, Barishal has named Professor Dr Anisuzzamsn as Professor Emeritus for his outstanding contribution to social development, world peace and patriotism, together with the academic realm.
The decision was taken unanimously at a syndicate meeting of the university on Saturday.
Founder of Global University Bangladesh and Awami League Presidium Member Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Global University Board of Trustee Chairperson Advocate Syada Arjuman Banu Nargis, Cumilla University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AFM Abdul Main, Joint Secretary Khaleda Akter, Professor Tapan Kumar Baul, Professor Dr Md Rafiqul Islam. Professor AKM Enayet Hossain, Professor Md Zahir Uddin Arif and other syndicate members were present at the meeting.
